Your Information
We collect your information when you fill in membership application or renewal forms and also event entry forms. You can give us your information using paper forms or online forms. The information you give us may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, competition licence number and vehicle details. When you give us information about another person, such as a child, parent, guardian or emergency contact you must let that person know that you have given us the information. If you are under 18 years old, we will also ask for information from your parent or guardian. We may also collect information about you when you visit our website, in particular your IP (internet protocol) address.
We use CCTV at Rowrah circuit for safety and security. Any image data that may be collected are held for a maximum of 21 days after which time they overwritten.
Photographers may be present at the circuit. Cumbria Kart Racing Club has no control over the images taken by these photographers—should you not wish to be photographed then please inform Race control who will do everything possible to stop this.
We use your information when you first apply to become a member of CUMBRIA KART RACING CLUB and then to administer and renew your club membership. We also use your information when you enter club events. This information is used to fulfil our contract with you. We might use your information to send you marketing messages by e-mail but only if you have agreed that we can do this—and you can change your mind at any time by letting us know you would prefer not to receive the marketing information.
We will never sell your information.

SAFEGUARDING POLICY
· CKRC are committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people. We aim to promote good practice that delivers a safe and positive environment for children and young people. All staff and volunteers have the information given to them to meet their safeguarding responsibilities as set out by Government legislation and MS UK guidelines.
· We aim to keep all our club members safe whilst taking part in motorsport and this will include all volunteers (officials and marshalls) as well as persons who are not themselves involved but are related to these people. We also include adults at risk along with parents and carers of the children in our club environment.
· This policy includes all events at Lakeland Stadium, Rowrah but also includes incidents of harassment, bullying and abuse away from the venue i.e. online, through social or domestic environments should these be brought to the attention of our safeguarding officers.
· Should any member be aware of, or suspect that someone is at risk of abuse or neglect, then this should be reported immediately to our Safeguarding Officers who will take appropriate action. These include physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, neglect as well as bullying and cyber bullying, cyber abuse, peer on peer abose, abuse by a person of trust and poor practice.
· CKRC has a duty of care to tackle incidents and behaviours which fall short of expectations.
· Any concerns should be immediately notified to our Safeguarding Officers – details below – who will take the appropriate action and may report the incidents both to MS UK, social services or the police as deemed necessary.
· All persons are reminded of the MS UK policy on race with respect and should follow these guidelines.
